I’m Carrie Kyrias, an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about helping individuals of all ages develop the communication and life skills they need to thrive. Over the years, I’ve worked in schools, hospitals, clinics, private practice, and early intervention, supporting diverse populations. My telepractice practice has also allowed me to provide services across multiple states, reinforcing my vision of making high-quality resources accessible to all.
Inspired by the power of communication to build relationships and foster independence, I co-founded Huckleberry Bridge Learning to bridge the gap between need and availability—offering evidence-based, easy-to-implement materials that truly make a difference. These materials have been a game-changer in my therapy sessions, allowing my students to make meaningful progress in their communication and daily interactions. Seeing them gain confidence and independence reinforces my passion for creating resources that truly work.

I am Jackie Thurman, an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from a small farming and ranching community. Growing up in such an environment instilled in me a deep love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practices. I’m passionate about helping individuals develop the skills they need to communicate effectively and navigate the world around them with as much independence as possible.
I truly believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive, and I’m committed to providing personalized care that meets each person’s unique needs. I love how these materials make group therapy so much easier! I can work on different skills with multiple students at once, keeping everyone engaged while making sure each person gets what they need to grow and succeed.
