Being Patient

Being Patient | Companion Activity supports development of patience and waiting skills from the life skills video through interactive tasks. Students answer yes/no and WH-questions, sequence waiting strategies, and retell the video visually. Problem-solving scenarios help manage frustration while waiting. Language exercises include categorization of patient behaviors, compare/contrast of patient vs. impatient actions, and utterance expansion with verbs and prepositions. These activities promote self-control and social understanding.
