Getting Ready to Go | Companion Activity supports preparation routines for leaving the house as shown in the life skills video. Students answer yes/no and WH-questions, sequence getting-ready steps, and retell the video visually. Problem-solving tasks address forgetting items or rushing. Language activities include categorization of needed items, compare/contrast prepared vs. unprepared behaviors, and utterance expansion with verbs and prepositions. These tasks promote organization and responsibility.
