Getting Ready to Learn

Getting Ready to Learn | Companion Activity focuses on preparing the body and environment for learning as shown in the life skills video. Students answer yes/no and WH-questions, sequence steps to get ready, and retell the video with visual supports. Problem-solving activities address distractions and readiness challenges. Language development includes categorization of learning tools, compare/contrast of prepared vs. unprepared behaviors, and utterance expansion with prepositions and present progressive verbs.
